Dave Jenkins:

Dave Jenkins, a native of Wales and a geologist by trade, was one of the founding father of WRFC in 1983. After a few years he was transferred out but returned in 1991 and assisted John Cherrybone and Dr Steve Box in reorganizing WRFC. As coach, he led WRFC to win the D3 State Championship in 1993. After WRFC moved up to D2, he led the club to many successful seasons. For 5 years in a row, WRFC was ranked in the top 16 teams in the US. This culminated in a D2 National Championship in 2001. Players remember him as putting in countless hours to keeping the club growing and playing at a high level. His wife, Pam, was a huge supporter of his efforts and of WRFC.
